Breast surgery in Turkey includes all plastic surgery procedures aimed at changing the shape and size of the female breast. These include breast enlargement, breast reduction, breast lift, and nipple correction, in which the shape of the breast remains unchanged. Many women become dissatisfied with their breasts over time due to the change in the contour, and the breasts no longer correspond to their perception of their own body. Besides, the breast shape is genetically determined, and only plastic surgery can achieve the desired change. If this procedure meets the patient’s expectations, self-confidence will be strengthened. The most frequent breast operation in women is breast augmentation with implants, which is now performed more than 50,000 times a year.

General Information About Breast Surgery
Breast augmentation fulfills a woman’s desire for a fuller and more aesthetically contoured bust. The necessary implants are available in a wide variety of forms and shapes. Breast reduction is often performed not only for aesthetic reasons, but also to relieve the strain put on the spine due to an oversized bust. If the breasts are drooping and hanging, a breast lift is performed. This treatment is becoming more and more attractive, especially for women of advanced age and after pregnancy. Breast Surgery Before and After the Operation
The procedure is performed by Prof. Dr. E. Ismail or a medical specialist in the clinic in Istanbul and usually takes about one to two hours. It is always performed under general anesthesia. Before the operation, the medical staff will subject you to a preoperative examination with blood sampling, ECG examination and analysis of your state of health. Calculate one to two days for the hospital stay and bed rest for the following week. Then you can start your return journey from Turkey. From the second week, you will be able to return to normal activities, but you will not be able to do any physically demanding activities. Bear in mind that you should wear a post-operative bra for about six weeks. During this time, you are not allowed to engage in any sporting activities. The scars must also not be exposed to sun or solarium radiation for at least two months.
